Remember Fancy Nancy… she is fancy!!

Today’s fancy thought is VERY fancy in my eyes! A lot of you are already probably a fan of Pinterest. I like to describe it as an electronic scrapbook of all the things you love. I don’t know why or how people come up with these great ideas… Facebook, twitter, linked-in, and now Pinterest.

What I love about Pinterest it its amazing ability to connect people in a very non-standard social network way. You don’t have to have conversation and you aren’t expected to comment every time someone pins something or shared something you enjoy. You can simply choose to look at it and love it, look at it and hate it, or look at it and pin it to your own page! I mean the flexibility of the entire thing is pretty intriguing.

Now, I am new to Pinterest. Only been on a few weeks and I am still getting a hang on how to navigate through the entire thing and I know quite a few of my friends are having those same troubles so here are the few things I have found that are EASY and help to explore!

Start one or two boards. I kept my pretty general. I have a shoes I love, a wedding, and a things that I think are cute board. If I had more time on my hands I think I would go crazy and pin everything I see because I just love having a place to go to see things that I think are cool BUT I don’t so I find that I am usually just “repining” things that my friends think are cool… but start one or two boards and give it a try!

Also, I just follow my friends on Facebook! I literally just figured out how to find people I am not friends with on Facebook before I wrote this post BUT before that I was just following people that are my Facebook friends and TRUST me that was a whole lot of information to see!

Anyway I just think Pinterest is fancy. Just really freaking fancy. If you want to follow me there is a link on the side of my blog where you can do that! But just remember I’m no Pinterest professional I just simply like FANCY things!
