So last Saturday I had grad school class… it starts at 9am so I woke up at 7ish in hopes of getting in a 25 minute run or something but as it turns out I had a great 4 mile run…. I started out thinking okay I have allotted myself 25 min to run which will give me enough time to shower and get some breakfast in before I head to class but I was feeling so good about 15 minutes in I knew I should just keep going!
I made some pretty decent time and felt absolutely great. It was really the first time I had been out in the streets running in a while so I was a little nervous about how my body would react but turns out I felt really great doing it and even better afterward!
I even hit some hills and managed that just fine so it was just a really great run… although I was late for class haha! Went with wet hair which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got a new hairdo I really liked haha. At least I was able to get in the shower haha that would have been a stinky 6 hours with a bunch of people!
So after I great run I met my mom for a crazy fun workout the other night too! CrossFit has just been whopping my butt and it has been amazing! My mom is such a great workout buddy so we are able to have some fun and do some working out!
My new hair do gives me a “Richard Simmons” workout attire haha. Check out that crazy hair!

We completed what I thought was called The Cindy but it wasn’t haha. In any case it was a workout that really made you concentrate on your form and my arms were feeling great the next day! Well worth it. You can see in the picture what the workout consisted of… so it was every minute on the minute you switch workouts and do it for 30 minutes!
So working out is feeling GREAT and I am just loving the positive attitude that is gives me… makes me feel good about myself for sure! Endorphins I guess?!
